Audubon's Warbler (Dendroica coronata)

The Audubon's warbler is a small passerine bird (Family: Parulidae, Order: Passeriformes). The female warbler has an olive-green back. The warbler has yellow patches on the throat, the side, the crown, and the rump. The warbler has a streaked breast, a white belly, white eye rings, and black legs and feet. The bill of the warbler is short and pointed.

The male has a slate gray back.

The Myrtle Warbler (Dendroica coronata coronata) which is found in northern and eastern parts of America, has a simlar appearance but has a white throat. The Audubon's warbler is one of so-called "New World Warblers". New World Warblers are not related to Old World Warblers (Sylviidae).
