Brewer's Blackbird (Euphagus cyanocephalus)

The Brewer's Blackbird is a robin-sized passerine bird (Family: Icteridae, Order: Passeriformes). The body of the male blackbird is iridescent black, and its head is iridescent purple. The black bill is short and pointed, the legs and feet are black, and the eyes are yellow. The characteristic calls of the blackbird are heard throughout the region.
